KARACHI (Sports Reporter): The Pakistan Physical Disability Cricket Team are favourites to win the NatWest Physical Disability World Series in England under the leadership of Nahar Alam. This was stated by none other than former Pakistan captain and President Pakistan Disable Cricket Association. Having won the title by defeating England in the final of the Tri-Nations series in 2018 on their home ground last year, Pakistan team once again enter the event with great expectations. The press conference was attended by GM Sales and Marketing Hilton Pharma-Hinucon Waqas Anjum, PCB official Wasim Bari, Honourary Secretary PDCA Amiruddin Ansari, Vice President PDCA Fouad Mustafa, Media Manager Vice President Dr. Noman Paliker, Member Board of Directors Mohammad Sadiq Khatri, Mohammad Imran Khan, Corporate and Communication Manager Hinucon Shariq Yaqub. President PDCA Rashid Latif paid tribute to former President and current generation PDCA and Disability Cricket Founder Salim Karim and said that he would like to congratulate him for his great services in introducing disable cricket under some difficult conditions. “I think Salim Karim took the challenge and undertook this project and the series with great determination,” said Latif. “It is a great pleasure to work with these Pakistani cricketers. The former captain said, “I went to Bangladesh with the National Disable Team and it is not possible to describe in words what these disable cricketers have shown. Their spirit and hunger to do well in this sport is admirable.” “I hope PCB and ICC will take this disable cricket in their strides more and more,” hoped Latif. In the end he thanked the sponsors Inter Loop Limited, the support high Nikon, the Sindh government, and especially PCB and the media for their support. The Pakistan team will leave for UK from Jinnah International Airport, Karachi on Tuesday 31st July at 11am to attend the Pakistan Team World Series. Teams from Bangladesh, India, Afghanistan and host England will alsoe feature in the series to be played at the county ground of Warwickshire. The national team will play its first match against host England on July 5 at 11am. The final of the series will be played on August 14. The most awaited match will be between arch-rivals Pakistan and India, scheduled for August 9. According to the announcement of Media Manager Pakistan Disabled Cricket Association (PDCA) Mohammad Nizam, Rashid Latif, Amir Uddin Ansari, will give briefing to the Media Persons about the upcoming 2019 Physical Disability World series in England between Pakistan,with host England, India ,Afghaisatn and Bangladesh  physical Disabled Cricket teams which will be started from 5th of August 2018 Worcestershire, they will also announce the traveling program of Pakistan Physical Disability Cricket Team, Schedule of Matches, and other Officials will also present on the occasion.

 

Conditioning & Training Camp of Pakistan Pd Starts today At NCA – Natoinal Stadium Karachi

Karachi: (Sports Reporter): The 7 Days Conditioning & training  Camp 23rd July to 30 st July of Pakistan Physical Disability Cricket Team will starts today on Tuesday at National Stadium Karachi at 10: am for upcoming 2019 Physical  Disability World Cricket Series Worcestershire England. Coaches will improved the ability of batting bowling fielding fitness skills and others while The training camp will conclude on July 30th, on 31st July the team leaves for the UK. Apart from Pakistan, host England, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and  India will also take part in the World series which starts on august 5 Pakistan team will began their campaign from the match against host England on opening day. However the  Inerloop Limited once again is the title sponsor of Pakistan Physical Disability cricket team in the Wold Series, Intoorloop Limited was the Title sponsor in the last year in Tri nation Series 2018 when Pakistan was the champion. Muhammad Jawed will be Pakistan Disability Cricket Team coach while Javed Ashraf Assistant Coach will assist him, Dr. Asif Gulzar ( Team Physio), Amiruddin Ansari ( Team Manager) Muhammad  Nizam( Media Manager) will also present. former Pakistan Captain Rashid Latif expected to present During the Training camp. TRAINING AND FITNESS CAMP TODAY AT NSK

Karachi: The Pakistan physical disabled cricketers training camp, currently in progress at the National Cricket Stadium for the preparation of Physical Disability World Cricket series in the UK which is scheduled to be held in August, will conclude here on Wednesday. Coach Mohammad Javed with Qamber Ali , are supervising the camp. The founder of Disable Cricket and patron PDCA Saleem Kareem, Chief Selector Iqbal Imam, Honorary Secretary Amiruddin Ansari also watched the players in action. The Physical disabled cricketers assembled at the ground at 5:00 pm on Tuesday and underwent a physical training session that lasted nearly 30 minutes. Later they did fielding session.

The Pakistan Physical disabled cricket team will net practice today at 5pm National Stadium Karachi after the practice session the today camp will concluded here on Wednesday today. After the training session M. Javed said that the all player looking fit and very good shape and I am very hope full the Pakistan team will give the positive result and won the Physical disability world series in England.

PCB GIVES PDCA RS 2.5 MILLION GRANT
PAKISTAN DISABLED TEAM WILL LEAVE FOR UK ON AUGUST 2 TO PRACTICETO PARTICIPATE IN PHYSICALLY DISABLED WORLD SERIES

KARACHI: Hon. Secretary Pakistan Disabled Cricket Association (PDCA) Amir Uddin Ansari has confirmed on Saturday that the Pakistan Cricket Board has given PDCA grant of Rs. 2.5 million for the preparation of Pakistan Disabled team. Amir “said” on behalf of President PDCA Mr. Rashid Latif, all the Directors of PDCA and all the Physical Disabled Cricketers of the Country. We are extremely grateful to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for such a wonderful support to us. We are very much thankful to new Managing Director Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Mr. Waseem Khan for his personal interest to encourage our special cricketers by giving Rs. 2.5 million to cover the cost of the expanses of National Physical Disabled Cricket Team. His approval to use High Performance Centre Karachi and National Stadium Karachi for (10 Days) Training Camp for us will support to prepare accordingly for the tour of UK. Amir aslo aded that Pakistan Disabled Cricket Association will give his best in up-coming World Series. During this period of mens World Cup the preparations of Physically Disabled Cricketers of Pakistan will start shortly, during the World Series the final match will be played one day before at the occasion of Independence Day of Pakistan (14th August) and our players are very excited to give a fantastic gift to PCB and whole Nation by winning the series. Officially Six Teams from England, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and New comer Zimbabwe will participate in this first ever historical event in UK (Worcestershire). Match against rival India will be played on 9th August for which the players are not only confident to win it but strongly believe on their hard working.

The event will be played at one of the memorable county where our Honourable Prime Minister Mr. Imran Khan played his initial Cricket and luckily in last year we personally the memories of our legendry cricketer Imran Khan at various cricket ground and talking with local English men we feel proud that they all were very happy to see Mr. Imran Khan is the Prime Minister of Pakistan. It is notable that Pakistan Physical disabled cricket Team has won the Tri-Nation Disability Cricket Series last year by beating England at Worcestershire County Grond and till the formation of this cricket Pakistan have won all the International event of Disability Cricket Series i.e 2012 against England, 2014 against England, 2015 against Afghanistan, 2016 the ICC Academy Series and Tri-National Series in 2018 except in 2015 in Bangladesh where England was the Winner and Pakistan was runners-up. A regular domestic activities are going on Since 2008 in which National Championships and provincial Base Pentangular Cups were organized in every years.

PDCA ANNOUNCES PAKISTAN SQUAD NAME TO PHYSICALLY DISABLED WORLD SERIES TODAY ON THURSDAY AT NSK

KARACHI: The selection committee of the Pakistan Disabled Cricket Association (PDCA) Muhammad Jawed will announce the Pakistan team for the tour of England in August here on Thursday 2nd of May. According to the media Manager Muhammad Nizam, on behalf of chief selector Iqbal Imam, Selector Muhammad Jawed along with PDCA honorary Secretary Amir Uddin Ansari will address a joint media conference at 11:30 am at the Hanif Mohammad Centre for Excellence in the National Stadium during which the 15-man Pakistan squad for the first ever physically Disability World Series between England, Afghanistan, India, Bangladesh and Pakistan will be unveiled. The national selection committee also includes Sabih Azhar and Javed Ashraf.

PAKISTAN NAME SQUAD FOR PHYSICAL DISABILITY WORLD SERIES 2019 WORCESTERSHIRE ENGLAND

KARACHI- Pakistan disabled cricket association (PDCA) Thursday announced 15-member Pakistan Physical Disability Cricket Team to feature in Physical Disability World -series Worcestershire, England being played in England from August 5 to 13. On behalf of Iqbal Imam, chief selector of Pakistan Disabled Cricket Association (PDCA), who is in South Africa with Pakistan Women’s Team as a batting coach after the approval of former Pakistan captain and PDCA president Rashid Latif Member selection committee Muhammad Jawed announced the Pakistan Squad Name for Physical Disability World Series 2019.

 

Speaking at a news conference at the PCB Regional Academy NSK in connection with Pakistan teams participation in the World -series, Jawed said: “The selection of the Pakistan team was very difficult because we had a bunch of talented players who performed exceptionally at domestic and international levels. The selection was done after players took part in the fitness camp in National stadium Karachi supervised by PCB Physio Sardar Imran, trainer Rashid Qureshi head coach Sabih Azhar, along with Iqbal Imam, member selection committee M Jawed, Javed Asraf and PDCA secretary Amiruddin Ansari.

 

Jawed futher said “Players retained from the Physical Disability Tri -Series 2018 winning party include: Nihar Alam (captain), Matloob Qireshi, Muhammad Shabaz, Saifullah, Wajid Alam, Jahanzaib Tiwana, Hasnain Alam, Majid Hussain, Abdullah Ejaz, Wakif Shah, Muhammad  Haris and Farhan Saeed. “ Two emerging players middal ordeal batsman  Hamza Hameed and Medium pacer Hammad Shoukat have been selected after they best performance in Pentangular cup while the promising all -rounder Zubair Saleem is also selected his excellent performance.

 

The selector is very confidence in the selected players and claimed that it is ‘balanced side and can win the tri- series. “There are both spinners and fast bowlers in the squad,” he said and added: “We will take a strong middle order with openers in the T20 format. Nihar Alam will lead onec again the Pakistan  team in the World Series event.” we are the winner of the last tri – Series was also played in England in last year in that time England was the runner -up. The Selectors also named four-reserve players while team officials will announced later because the organizer allowed only five officials but we tri and request sensed to organizer to allow more official. Former Pakistan Captain Waseem Bari, Representative PCB Arshad Khan, Vice President PDCA Fawad Mustafa, Media Manager Muhammad Nizam, Member Board of Director Sadiq Khatri were also present on the occasion.

 

Former Captain Pakistan Cricket Team Waseem Bari appreciated the efforts of Pakistan Disabled Cricket Association to promote the Disabled Cricket not in Pakistan also around the World, I am very hope full the Pakistan Physically Disabled Cricket Team will be the Winner in up-coming World Series in England.

 

The Hon’ secretary PDCA told the media Pakistan defeated England by 70 runs at The Kidderminster CC 2018 to become only the country in the history of the Physical Disability cricket to win all two tri – Nation Series was runner-up 5 -Nation  events, also defeated England in two series both ODI and T-20 at ICC Academy Dubai in 2010 & 2012, Pakistan also host the ODI and T-20 Series in 2015 at Karachi in which Pakistan was the winner with clean sweep. Pakistan physical Disability cricketers two-day conditioning camp will be held at the PCB Regional Academy after Eid while the week long training camp will be held in third week july and the team will leave for England on July 2nd August.

 

Pakistan will play their opening match against host England August 5, against Afghanistan  on august 6, against Bangladesh on august 8, while the big match between Pakistan and India will play august 9. Amiruddin added that we very thanksful to Pakistan cricket Board (PCB) specially to MD Waseem Khan to given big support and I am very hopeful the PCB will also support to Pakistan team in World series I must say thanks  ECB to promoted physical disability cricket in England and other countries.

 

Amiruddin thanked former Pakistan captain and PDCA president Rashid Latif, who supported and working day & night for the disabled cricketers since very long time. Pakistan Disabled team captain said I am very confident the selected Pakistan in balanced side we are capable to won the World series  I am also the thanked to media for high light our performance  domestic and international level i promise with with your’s support we can win the World series and other event.
